There is not a sight much prettier than that of the foliage in northern New Hampshire. It begins in October and continues to be beautiful for most of the month. I'm so blessed and lucky to live nearby to take this all in.
I am a New Englander, born and raised. I tend to gravitate toward landscape and seascape photos, although, I do love to get shots of old buildings and barns. Over the past few years, I've done some work with macros and find it to be a lot of fun. I've entered many contests and had some luck with my photos. I live in a very colorful place, so the fall and summer photos are usually a hit. In the summer, I head to the White Mountains in New Hampshire and get some of the most majestic shots of the landscape there. But I don't always have to travel....just sitting in my computer chair, I have the most beautiful colored trees to capture right out my own window. I also drive across the United States once a year.
